'In the time that followed Túrin grew high in favour with Orodreth, and well-nigh all hearts were turned to him in Nargothrond. For he was young, and only now reached his full manhood; and he was in truth the son of Morwen Eledhwen to look upon: dark-haired and pale-skinned, with grey eyes, and his face more beautiful than any other among mortal Men, in the Elder Days. His speech and bearing were that of the ancient kingdom of Doriath, and even among the Elves he might be taken for one from the great houses of the Noldor ...'
I would now certainly have to redraw it, much time has passed and I can see all my funny mistakes) the person would have taken more stringent ...
Not at all! The point I was trying to make is that it's beautiful!
Children of Hurin this book was read by one of the last, made a strong impression and the fate of Turin for a long time did not give me rest, I shall live, converted)
Narn i hin Hurin - well, its probably my favourite stand-alone Tolkien tale, but there are many to choose from Based on the Finnish mythological Story of Kullervo, is it not?
Epos this rather gloomy and tragic, after feeling after a hard ...
I think it's the single old-fashioned 'tragedy' is Tolkien' oeuvre, although its arguable that the whole of the saga/mythology is in fact a tragedy in itself, since it is of course the tale of (why) Arda (is) marred.

He is so perfect omg Túrin baby.
I am but speechless.
Turin! Another wonderful, intense portrait. Love his eyes!
"Turin", not "Thurin", you could fix it. Apart that - great job, you've painted many fantastic portraits
Actually, in the book Children of Húrin Finduilas nicknames him "Thurin" without knowing his true name. It's not really a common name for him, but it's correct if you accept Children of Húrin as canon.
Ёшкин кот!!! Он великолепен!!!!!
a dragon on his head？
Love it!. While I was scrolling down I saw the top of the helmet. I scroll farther down and I found those damn eyes staring at me like "What you doin gurl?" *creepy breathing*.

Man alive, you do stunning portraiture. These are watercolors, correct?
Haha knew it!
Naa, when you posted Mim I commented that I guessed Turin would be next, since the previous one had been Nienor.
I love children of Hurin and Silm ....
I haven't read Children of Hurin, only the Silmarillion. But the story of Túrin and Nienor is my favourite of the whole book.
My perhaps too, though when I read the children of Hurin vpervyj time I shut the book and said she read it again'll never be, a bad impression, everything in life .
